Day 28: What are 3 things you want to give yourself
Three
things I want to give myself, not a material thing or something visible to the
eye. I want to give myself something more personal. Those three things are a
warm embrace, appreciation, and words of encouragement.
These
three things, in my opinion, are important and something I really need.
A Warm Embrace
I
want to hug myself and tell myself that I'm not alone. I'll always be there for
myself in any situation. I want to hug myself tightly to feel the warmth that
comes from that embrace. The warmth that might make me calmer, relax my tense
muscles, and stop for a moment the busyness of my brain that keeps thinking.
Appreciation
I
want to thank myself for fighting this far. Fighting in everything, including
fighting to survive amidst death that keeps waving at me from the other side.
You've fought hard and tried to give 100% of yourself in every situation. Maybe
the results sometimes don't meet expectations, but thank you for persevering.
Words of Encouragement
As I
said, sometimes life might go beyond your shadows and plans, sometimes it
brings wounds and trauma that might be painful. Feel all those feelings. It's
okay to cry, it's okay to feel down, everything you feel is real. Never hide
and resist it. You have the right to show your worst side to the world. Because
you're human, not a robot without feelings. So it's okay if you fail, you can
try again.
Finally,
I want to say, I love you myself.
